HomeRiver Group is looking to hire a full-time HOA Accounts Payable Specialist with strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, keep an open communication with the team and have a strong desire to be a part of an amazing team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will operate efficiently within a full cycle accounts payable environment, review and process all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment and provide other clerical support necessary to pay client obligations. You will match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly. You will obtain proper support and/or information regarding invoice payments. Not only will you respond to all vendor inquiries, but you will pay vendors by scheduling checks and electronic payments, as well as reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies, and clarify any questionable invoice items. You will maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
  • High school diploma or equivalent a must
  • Minimum 1-year accounts payable experience
  • Experience with Property Management industry and/or PropertyWare software is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proof of personal insurance
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn various software programs
  • Experience using G-Suite applications, including Gmail and Google Drive
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Life-changing customer service skill
