Our Team

The ACS-OFS BI team is responsible for implementing/supporting Oracle BI projects with focus on Tech Delivery for our Customers. We are looking for a technical architect with deep experience in implementing and supporting Oracle BI solutions.

Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for applying your extensive Oracle BI technology Development and Support knowledge to design and build solutions for our Customers and support them with run and maintain activities.

The ideal candidate should be Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or Master of Computer Applications with an experience of 15+ years and should:
  • Have hands-on experience in implementing/supporting Oracle Business Intelligence Applications for heterogeneous sources like EBS/Siebel/Taleo/Fusion Cloud. The functional modules should cover Financials, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Spend, Sales, Projects etc.
  • Have experience (In-Depth Understanding of Data Model and Business process functionality and its data flow) in Oracle Business Intelligence Applications
  • Have development experience in extending the out of the box OBIA code using Type-1, Type-2 customizations
  • Have experience of writing efficient and optimize code and understanding of performance tuning techniques in the tools used in OBIA i.e., ODI and OBIEE/OAC
  • Have experience of RPD modeling (All 3 layers) using the OBIEE/OAS and OAC Administration Tool
  • Have experience in Report/Dashboard development using OBIEE/OAS and OAC
  • Have experience in monitoring the ETL loads in ODI
  • Have experience in upgrading one version of OBIA to another, especially OBIA 11g to 12c
  • Have experience in troubleshooting OBIA upgrade issues
  • Have experience in executing the migration utility in OBIA 12c for ODI customizations
  • Have experience in standalone ODI upgrade
  • Have experience in standalone OBIEE upgrade
  • Have experience in migrating OBIEE to OAC, especially OBIEE 11g to OAC
  • Have experience in post upgrade regression testing use cases
  • Have experience in debugging and fixing issues related to the Oracle BI tools
  • Have experience in migrating code from one customer instance to another, for example, Dev to Test and Test to Prod
  • Have excellent knowledge in writing/debugging complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code
  • Have expertise in building custom Data Marts/Data Warehouses using various data modeling techniques such as Star, Snowflake, etc.,
  • Have exposure to Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW)
  • Have exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Have exposure to deploy various BI applications on OCI
  • Have experience in migrating BI components from On Premise to OCI
Your Responsibilities

As an integral part of the ACS-OFS BI Team, you will be responsible for the following
  • Working with the customers directly to understand their requirements and to enable building the analytics solutions for the requirements
  • Be technically hands-on and own/drive key end to end products/services
  • Ensure customer success including delivering enhancements/bug fixes as needed
  • Design & Development of ETLs using Oracle Data Integrator either within the OBIA or standalone
  • Design & Development of RPD/Reports/Dashboards/Visualizations using OBIEE or OAC
  • Monitor the ODI ETL Jobs and address any failures in quick manner to ensure the Analytics data is current
  • Monitor the OBIEE/OAC Agents and Report jobs and address any failures
  • Develop and execute complex SQL queries to analyze data issues end to end
  • Perform data validations from the OBIEE or OAC Reports to the respective Source systems and consolidate the data
  • Independently upgrade standalone ODI from one version to another, including ODI Marketplace
  • Independently upgrade standalone OBIEE from one version to another
  • Independently upgrade OBIEE 11g to OAC
  • Independently upgrade OBIA from one version to another, especially OBIA 11g to 12c
  • Regression Testing and troubleshooting the issues related to the upgrade
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to gather requirements and design complex business application extensions and data integration solutions
  • Coordinate and work with Customer for the User Acceptance Testing
  • Coordinate and work with the Customer for the Project Go-Live and Post Go-Live support
  • Work on the incidents raised by the business post go-live and follow-up for closure
  • Estimate the upgrade/implementation efforts by utilizing the standard/established estimation templates
