The Role of Community Recovery Worker: Community recovery Workers will work within their locations. We are looking to recruit a North, South, Central, East and West Community Recovery Worker to cover shifts across our busy recovery services within the place based area. Candidates who like shift work and love variety to their day to day role who will secure recovery work shifts across our full array of busy recovery services (including the REST hub services). The community recovery worker role is to provide one to one and group emotional support sessions to people who are in need of support. This will be achieved through working with clients in a range of settings within our Norfolk and Waveney Mind services. To focus on de-escalating the crisis experienced, making plans for recovery and providing a safe place to regroup. To help reduce the sense of social isolation and refocus on current or possible support networks. What we are looking for: Commitment to empower and support people in a way that inspires trust and confidence, motivating others to reach their potential. Experience of supporting people with their mental health within a professional setting. Experience of working with people with complex needs who may be difficult to engage. An understanding of mental health difficulties, including the role of crisis support. Good IT and numeracy skills.
