OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Finance and Accounting, the Controller will provide strong leadership and expertise in all aspects of Accounting, as well as acting as cross functional business partner in development of innovative and effective process, controls, and product support. The controller will oversee all Accounting related activities and various Financial aspects of the business with a focus on automation in support of ongoing growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall responsibility for accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting for the company in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
Responsible for ensuring accuracy in job costing/construction accounting activities as well as standard non construction product accounting.
Develop and lead Accounting TEAM, ensuring cohesive support in alignment with goals
Lead partnership with accounting and business teams to design, implement and monitor a strong system of internal controls.
Manage all accounting aspects including invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, construction accounting, fixed assets accounting and revenue recognition.
Act as cross functional partner in ongoing financial and business activities, including interaction with department heads and various levels of the company.
Manage weekly cash forecasting and related reporting
Manage ongoing automation in support of increased accuracy levels, increased company growth and reduction of workloads.
Lead team in fulfillment of annual financial review by outside firm.
Implement training for new hires and identify training needs and opportunities for current team members.
Leads special projects related to Accounting
Performs such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable state and local government laws.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Broad experience with construction accounting as well as standard accounting essential
Experience in wireless or telecommunications preferred
Experience with Sage 300 CRE preferred
Excellent management and supervisory skills
Collaborative leader with capability of driving a strong team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Able to communicate with co-workers and other business contact in a courteous and professional manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Office 365, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Public Accountant
10 years of related experience, with at least 5 years of experience as a controller.
5+ years of supervisory experience.
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
