The Customer Service/Order Selector Associate, under the direction of the Inside Sales Manager, is responsible for creating a positive shopping experience through excellent customer service and a demonstrated passion for food. The Customer Service/Order Selector Associate will actively engage and assist customers in choosing the right products to fulfill their need. The Customer Service/Order Selector Associate utilizes a variety of mechanized equipment as well as physical labor to retrieve product from the warehouse to deliver to the customer via the Will Call Center. The Customer Service/Order Selector Associate will also demonstrate a high level of integrity when handling customer transactions, company products, equipment, and relationships with vendors, brokers, co-workers and customers.
Some Saturday mornings will be necessary when scheduled.

Essential Functions:

Provide a positive shopping experience and excellent customer service to include greeting, educating and informing customers about product offerings.
Operates a variety of mechanized equipment in order to retrieve product from the warehouse.
Utilizes automated order picking system to accurately and efficiently identify the correct product to fulfill the requested order from the Will Call Center.
Demonstrate advanced product knowledge; maintaining awareness of new products and educate employees and customers on product offerings.
Organize and prioritize customer orders in accordance with Will Call policy.
Perform all cashier duties necessary for the proper completion of transactions.
Responsible for printing customer invoices.
Administer credits according to company policy.
Monitor product integrity to ensure the highest quality items are available.
Work closely with the operational, purchasing and sales departments.
Accurately executes documented best practices for maintaining inventory data integrity through the use of computer software (Retalix).
Follow all company guidelines and procedures, to include but not limited to, safety, food safety/HACCP and sanitation.

Additional Responsibilities:

Provides backup to the Day Warehouse, Inventory and Inside Sales Representatives (CSR) when required or directed, performing some or all of the essential functions of the Day Warehouse Associate, Inventory Clerk or CSR.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
