This position provides technical assistance to classroom staff and families addressing children's challenging behaviors and/or disabilities by working collaboratively with teachers in various classrooms throughout the course of the year as the needs are determined.

Baccalaureate degree in Child Development, Birth-Kindergarten, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Recreational Therapy or directly related field. Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred. Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.
Five years of experience teaching children ages birth to six. Experience working in an early childhood setting with children with identified disabilities and/or behavioral needs. Early Head Start/Head Start/NC Pre-K experience preferred.
