ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Sets up, operates and maintains extruders, grinders, pelletizers, and all support equipment.
2. Diagnoses all operational and quality problems and makes necessary machine adjustments to correct.
3. Knows all technical and departmental terminology.
4. Trains other departmental personnel.
5. Interprets SPC data and makes process improvements.
6. Follows and participates in plant safety/housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure a safe work environment.
7. Remains compliant with SQF / HACCP requirements as per this location's written Food Safety & Quality Policy
