Join us as a Lead Assessment Psychologist and you'll play a key role leading the design of bespoke Assessment solutions for our RPO clients to develop client-centred solutions based on best practice and forward-thinking psychological assessment expertise. The Role As a Lead Assessment Psychologist you'll be a part of our Consulting team, leading the scoping, design, evaluation, and ongoing continuous improvement of assessment solutions. You'll: Lead the bespoke design of best practice assessment solutions for clients, both paper-based and supported by innovative technology platforms, working as the SME assessment partner Work with a range of clients to understand their challenges and needs, scope out cost effective and impactful solutions, advise on the pros and cons of different approaches, support client decision making, and challenge constructively to reach a high value solution Generate compelling recommendations and proposals for new opportunities with new and existing clients Provide SME project management and leadership support on large, complex projects Lead other psychologists in the team by line managing, or mentoring/coaching the Assessment Psychologists working on design projects, including external associates Select, advise on and use Job Analysis techniques to underpin the design of a variety of bespoke tools from volume to Senior Exec roles, including the development of Assessment Frameworks, Realistic Job Previews, SJTs, Video and Telephone interviews, bespoke Assessment Centre exercises and immersive blended online assessments Work with the Assessment Implementation team to set up, monitor, evaluate and improve online tests and Virtual Assessment Centres Optimise the candidate experience in assessment tools and processes Develop creative new ways of assessing behaviours to challenge the status quo Champion the highest quality standards in own and others' work, managing and meeting deadlines and client expectations to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects Contribute to ongoing agile and flexible planning and delivery, as longer term or more complex projects evolve, adapting to changing parameters and requirements to ensure outcomes that secure long term client relationships Who we're looking for We're looking for someone with assessment design and consulting experience, who enjoys working directly with clients to guide and advise on the right assessment solutions, and who wants to lead the design of impactful, bespoke assessment tools and processes. You'll be confident working on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritise your workload. You'll be comfortable and used to working with a wide range of clients, including job holders and senior leaders, and at ease being the only assessment SME in the room. You will be confident using your expertise to ensure your insightful understanding of the client's context, aims and needs and acting on this to manage client aspirations, expectations and outputs, upskilling clients and challenging supportively, diplomatically and constructively where appropriate. You'll also: Have a MSc in Occupational Psychology Want to work in assessment methodology and process design and consulting Have designed a wide range of bespoke assessment tools Have a good understanding of the principles and practice of assessment methodology design Have experience in carrying out job analysis and developing assessment frameworks Have experience of using data, statistics to understand and explain assessment (including validation, test design, AI analysis), and desire to evaluate the methodologies and processes you design be resourceful, conscientious, highly motivated by delighting clients and keen to understand and employ new and emerging assessment approaches and technology What's in it for me?
