As a member of our Engineering department, you'll be involved in all project development phases and ensure quality of our engineering, starting already in the quotation phase till the handover of the project to the manufacturing. Here's where you'll make an impact You'll build up the battery systems safety team and develop the team technically, including the competence development and continuously improve the team. Additionally, you'll lead and define the risk assessments, safety concepts and technical countermeasures and act as main consultant for the product safety related certification and compliance strategies. Product release documentation will be one of your tasks and you'll ensure all design evidence documents are relevant and provided. As you possess an entrepreneurial mindset, you strive for continuous improvement of the safety strategies and provide recommendations to project- and line managers at defined milestones, you'll be a leader and consultant to all battery safety engineers. This is your basic equipment Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar Several years of experience in battery systems safety and in working together with OEMS in a position with leadership responsibilities An in-depth understanding of li-ion battery systems and excellent knowledge of processes such as PDP, A-SPICE and ISO26262, as well as regulatory and safety relevant norms and standards Your English: Off the charts!
