We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Lead ensure the effective and efficient introduction of new products and processes and the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Additionally, the Engineer will be responsible to report on RMA trends and drive quality improvement projects to reduce overall customer return rate.
Develop and introduce manufacturing process improvements that meet cost and time targets.
Leads manufacturing engineering activities, encompassing capital and process development projects.
Work with the Director of Engineering to develop the manufacturing engineers and inspection group to drive ownership and accountability of assigned areas.
Proactively engage with the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, working with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Materials Management to ensure that new products are introduced according to the project plan.
Working with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Materials Management effectively manage and release CN s and VR s to the production floor.
Prioritize activities to implement key improvements that will extend the life of the product.
Effectively leads manufacturing support projects to timely completion.
Ensure RMA data is communicated and used to prioritize product improvement.
The Right Candidate:

Masters degree in a physical science, engineering or manufacturing engineering.
Lean manufacturing qualifications or experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Customer and/or supplier interaction experience required.
Plans in order to meet own objectives. Puts in place monitoring processes and makes appropriate adjustments when progress is not as planned or when requirements change.
Relates data from different sources to reach logical conclusions.
Recognizes and acts within the limits of own delegated authority.
Reaches decisions in an objective manner with an understanding of the interests of the business.
Able to perform functions of the job with or without reasonable accomodation
