RENTAL MANAGER-CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT:

Pape' Material Handling is opening a new construction equipment rental division in Southern California and we are seeking a Rental Manager to build a winning team.

As our Rental Manager, you will drive our construction equipment rental operation in the region and work with our customers to identify the best construction equipment rental offerings and solutions for their unique needs. Every day you will interact with customers, lead the rental team, and manage the rental fleet with the goal of increasing market share in the region. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Purchasing equipment for the construction equipment rental fleet.
  • Maintaining inventory of equipment to maximize rentals and sales with minimum inventory costs.
  • Inform all general managers, sales staff, and rental staff of machine availability, cost, location, and status.
  • Make wholesale sales to other dealers, used equipment dealers, and auction yards.
  • Help create advertising materials on construction rental equipment.
  • Manage all policies, procedures, and appraisal activities on construction rental equipment.
  • Locate equipment as needed to satisfy customer needs.

 

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with material handling and construction equipment.
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record.
