Job Description
Our Bose Facilities Operations group is focused on ensuring that each Bose location is a safe and enabling work environment for employees to do their best work. We are seeking a highly motivated, continuous improvement focused, team-oriented leader for the position of Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will partner with business colleagues and our global real estate team in ensuring initiatives to support the business are complete with high quality. The position will establish and be responsible for a comprehensive maintenance and equipment lifecycle program, coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors, support installation of new equipment/systems and partner with the leadership team regarding capital planning and execution.

Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Lead team responsible for facilities, maintenance and trade operational services
  • Lead Environmental Health & Safety Operations
  • Manage facilities budget, capital budgets, project execution and global standardization
  • Responsible for asset management and preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure facilities and equipment are operational and maintained in a proactive and compliant manner
  • Provide logistics and support for the installation of new equipment and technologies
  • Coordinate work requests to ensure timely completion and positive customer experiences
  • Oversee external vendors providing building maintenance services related to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry and other
  • Lead team to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies while ensuring quality and performance to established service level agreements
  • Ensure 24x7 emergency response as needed
  • Oversee process automation systems related to facilities and services
  • Other facilities tasks and projects, as assigned, to meet compliance and business needs

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • 8+ years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance/facilities field, including management of a multifunctional maintenance staff; ability to drive change
  • Experience with facility and service management, Environmental Health and Safety, building controls and coordinating CAPEX projects.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to optimally connect with teams across the enterprise
  • Strong project management skills and proven track record to lead sophisticated cross-functional initiatives across a breadth of customers
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with ability to execute strategy and immerse in operational problem solving
  • Proficient in facilities controls and facilities management automation
  • One or more professional trade certification
