Senior Systems and Cyber Analyst Hull Salary: £34,243 per annum 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year As our Senior Systems and Cyber Analyst, you will provide lead support on College ICT systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange/Outlook, and Office 365 suite of products. Assist in the College s Cyber resilience with testing, monitoring, and advice. Additionally, you ll assist the first line team with advice on desktop O/S and all associated College software as well as assisting in the management and maintenance of the Hull College Group ICT PC and Network infrastructure ensuring that support and services are available to clients whenever needed subject to service level agreements. Responsibilities of our Senior Systems and Cyber Analyst: Acting as a point of contact for all internal and external ICT Service support customer enquiries through the use of telephone, email, and face-to-face communication including out-of-hours support Assisting in the development, management, and technical support of Exchange (Office 365) Implementing industry best practice design of Active Directory and account security where permitting Supporting AD file/print services and Exchange/Outlook email Deployment and support of Windows server and systems Leading on Office 365 and associated products and technologies Assisting in the evaluation, testing, and distribution of software over the AD network Advising and assisting Group ICT colleagues in the development of AD structure and enhanced tools Supporting on Novell Identity Manager and Novell Storage Manager Ensuring all major Group ICT systems work and integrate with AD Maintaining access to appropriate systems at all reasonable times by carrying out specified maintenance procedures Assisting in the College s Cyber resilience with testing, monitoring, and advice Drafting procedures and documentation for AD systems and associated applications Assisting in the implementation of enhancements to the ICT infrastructure in consultation with the Director of ICT Services Recommending and advising managers and team members of developments to enhance the experience for staff and students Actively complying and contributing to the College s policies and procedures, particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection, and Cyber Essentials What we re looking for in our Senior Systems and Cyber Analyst: Good educational background or professional training and Microsoft certification Microsoft Active Directory/Exchange qualification Technically qualified in ICT Network and desktop support or substantial recent relevant experience Expert knowledge of Microsoft AD and Exchange and Office Suite Able to demonstrate the ability to support Windows operating systems and applications Knowledge of Windows PowerShell and script writing or other programming languages Evidence of self-motivation and ability and experience of working on own initiative Good knowledge of Computing hardware, software, and other digital equipment Sound knowledge of Microsoft OS If you have the skills and experience, we are looking for and would like to join us as our Senior Systems and Cyber Analyst please click Apply now, we d love to hear from you!
