Utilities Change Consultant Working for a consultancy that delivers Transformation programmes within a Utility sector. The first one is supporting a programme in Manchester for the next 6 months. Location: - Hybrid role - 2 days on-site in Manchester, 3 days home-based working (You have to be flexible on the days you are on the client's sites for example - workshops, meetings, training etc.. as required) Salary: - £55,000 basic - £60,000 basic + Package Role Description The Resolute Group is looking for an experienced Change Consultant ideally with Asset management experience within the utilities sector. Used to working in a consultancy environment with in a PMO team, understanding asset management data, then looking at the digital changes / transformation required to improve the use of the data and efficiencies it can drive. The project needs a true consultant that can be both client-facing and technical competent so as able to understand what asset management is and how it works in the utility sector. You can come from a client or consultancy background as long as you have been involved with change or transformation programmes. Understanding how to deliver a change programme as part of a larger team or leading a small project, so you are able to set achievable milestones with the client. More importantly, how to handle a project if a milestone is missed or delayed, having the communication skills to ensure the client understands the issues and how to turn the project around to bring it back on the programme. Very much a hands-on role as you will take full ownership of the change elements from the stakeholder meetings. Creating the new processes and associated documents, Training plans as required, building in the client's milestones and coordinating with the other business units to see how the change will affect them. Day to day activities will change but could include: - Supporting the leadership teams with new processes and systems as required. Support with documentation creation, including training plan, process maps and internal process changes. Keeping the team focused on the end goal of the data dashboards and implementation. Setting regular milestones to ensure the client is fully on board with the process. Risk mitigation - Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics. Training plans as required to ensure the team is fully brought into the new changeYour background: - Proven experience of being on a change programme, taking ownership of a section of a large programme or leading a smaller scheme. Able to analyse and create robust "Go Live Plans" translating the stakeholder requirements and expectations to a process map to undertake the change programme. Qualifications / Experience Degree qualified or MBA again would be ideal due to the levels you will be operating at. Experience of working in the utility sector - Water, Gas, Power and being involved with a change programme.PLEASE NOTE You must be eligible to work and live in the UK to apply for this position.
